So long and goodnight

As I am pretty sure you are all aware the worst has happened, My Chemical Romance has made the decision to call it a day.
The news has indeed come as a shock to us all, so lets unite in celebrating the incredible 12 year journey that we have been on.

12 years ago 5 average guys from average backgrounds created something wonderful that would sweep across the globe and become a phenomenon. Over the years they've sold millions upon millions of records, that have gone Multi-platinum in dozens of countries. With the appearance and disappearencr of members, battles with alcoholism, drug addiction and depression they blessed us all with thier music and their message. They never wanted us to feel alone and encouraged us to carry on and never give up because we're better than that. My Chemical Romance has provided us with true heroes and even though its over, I know that they will ALWAYS be my heroes.
The boys of My Chem were completely dedicated to us, as we to them, until the very end. And to be honest, it's not the end. Yes there'll be no more new albums, but we have 12 years of incredibly meaningful songs to listen to and lose ourselves in not to mention all the interviews that have entertained us.
We were lucky to have had the privilege to have heard and seen them.

My Chemical Romance, Gerard, Mikey, Frank, Ray and lets not forget Bob and Matt, we salute you and thank you for everything you've done for us. Thank you for 12 superb years, so long and goodnight.


This page will remain strong so we can continue to appreciate the band, there's no need to forget to do that.
